Job Title: Marine Crew Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marine Crew Coordinator to join our offshore shipping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating crew logistics, managing crew documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for our offshore vessels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Crew Logistics: Coordinate crew travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation to and from offshore vessels.

2. Crew Documentation: Manage and maintain accurate records of crew documentation, including passports, visas, certifications, and medical certificates.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international regulations, such as ISM, ISPS, MLC, and offshore industry-specific requirements (e.g., OPITO, IMCA).

4. Crew Management: Maintain crew databases, track crew rotations, and monitor crew performance, including training and certification records.

5. Communication: Liaise with vessel masters, crew members, and shore-based personnel to ensure smooth crew operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

6. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on crew performance, logistics, and compliance to management.

7. Budgeting: Assist with budgeting and cost control for crew logistics and expenses.

8. Offshore Vessel Operations: Coordinate with offshore vessel operators to ensure crew logistics and documentation meet operational requirements.

9. Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response planning and execution, including crew accountability and logistics support.

Requirements

1. Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the offshore shipping industry.

2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., logistics, business, maritime studies) preferred.

3. Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with crew management software (e.g., CrewManager, MLC) an asset.

4. Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore shipping industry regulations

5. Language: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required.
