Role & responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing & potential customers, by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
2. Handling existing accounts, new business development, sales forecasting, coordinating with production and dispatch teams.
3. Coordinating and working with the companys R&D team to develop better or newer products for customers.
4. Managing business development activities for the company right from receiving RFQs to negotiating prices and getting regular purchase orders.
5. Tracking sales with respect to customer production to ensure share of business, while constantly trying to increase share of business.
6. Generating new business from Domestic and International Market.
7. Identifying new opportunities for business growth with existing customers.
8. Identify and develop new clients and market segments.
9. Achieve sales target with best possible margins.
10. Analyzing latest sales & marketing trends, tracking competitors' activities & providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing activities, including pricing decisions.
11. Preparing MIS, sales forecast and market analysis reports.
12. Conceptualizing & implement strategies based on market requirement & competitor's activities, gaining business share & market credibility.
13. Focus on development and sales of value-added products.
14. Provide constant feedback to the management about the market to decide for future strategies.
15. Strategize and implement marketing plans for the companys brands and products.
16. Developing and launching new products in the category.
17. Ensuring top line and profitability.
18. Executing promotional/communication plans across all ATL/BTL activities.
19. Responsible for developing and defining consumer insight driven marketing mix and product portfolio.
20. Conceptualize and develop new concepts for brand communication and category communication to drive relevance and awareness of the brand.
21. Focus on developing synergies along with sales and marketing teams to boost brand awareness.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Tech/MBA
- Looking for candidates with experience in working for Auto component/product manufacturing companies having an OEM and Tier 1 customer base.
- 12-15 years of proven experience in Sales & Marketing with focus on channel management, market research, client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with maturity in interacting with both internal & external stakeholders.
