Business Development (Export) - Marketing

Experience : 5 to 7 years (Business Development - Export)

Location : Velachery, Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementing marketing & sales strategy and achieving company's short term and long term targets
• Identifying potential customers and develop / maintain an excellent understanding of the target customers strategic priorities, techno-commercial proposition and market challenges
• Creating and leading the customer strategy from a detailed understanding of both current and potential customers, ensuring a focus on long term direction and commercial value, and proactively driving forward to achieve these business targets
• Managing and developing the communication interface between sales & marketing functions and other key internal/external functions
• Build strong relationships with OEMs across the world
• Proposes operational / business process improvements for own and other functions to achieve internal process & cost efficiency
• Work closely with program management and engineering teams to ensure alignment on client needs and timelines
• Track and report on business development metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Prepare regular reports on market trends, and competitor activity

Desired Profile:

• Minimum of graduate in engineering with at least 4+ years of experience in auto component industry; post-graduation in business administration is an added advantage
• Proactive, high energy and high initiative
• Good interpersonal skills and influencing ability across levels
• Financial acumen and enterprise
• Strength in techno-commercial negotiations
• Maturity, patience and good listening skills

1. Should have handled customers like Volvo, Paccar, DAF, Daimler, US and EU customers

2. Should have business development experience primarily.
