Solution Architect (5-8 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect who can build comprehensive business solutions for leading Insurance firms globally.

- As the lead functional architect, this person will work with clients to understand their business imperatives and build business-aligned functional solutions that help them transform their business landscape.

- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in business process architecture, functional design, and enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms.

- A key focus will be on presales and bid management, driving successful outcomes in client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop end-to-end functional solutions that align with business strategies and objectives.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and IT teams, to translate business requirements into functional designs.

- Lead the presales process, including developing proposals, creating solution presentations, and participating in client meetings to win new business.

- Manage bid processes, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions that align with client needs and business goals.

- Assess existing business processes and recommend improvements or modernizations.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, scalability, and performance best practices.

- Lead the selection of appropriate tools, methodologies, and frameworks.

- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to development teams.

- Create functional documentation, including diagrams, standards, and best practices.

- Evaluate and integrate third-party software, APIs, and cloud services.

- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.

- Stay updated with emerging business trends and industry practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in business process design, functional architecture, or IT consulting.

- Proven experience designing functional solutions for cloud-based and on-premise systems.

- Strong knowledge of business process modeling, enterprise applications, and functional architectures.

- Proficiency in business analysis and requirement gathering.

- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

- Strong understanding of industry standards, business regulations, and best practices.

- Proven experience in presales and bid management, including developing proposals and managing bid submissions.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Certifications in business analysis or functional architecture are a plus
