SAP Basis Consultant

The Vended Application Senior Consultant I has expertise in two or more areas of the business and delivers product features utilizing vended software, particularly ERP applications, by applying knowledge of the application’s functionality and client business processes. The role contributes to the creation of technical designs for their area and configures vendor software for new or existing enterprise-wide and business-unit applications.

• Strong knowledge on AWS and SAP installation and maintenance using CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, github and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge on OS/DB migration and S/4 hana conversion.
• Extensive experience in SAP HANA Database Administration, Maintenance, troubleshooting, Upgrades and Patching
• Experience on SSO, SNC, SPNEGO and SAML.
• Experience in HANA cluster, backup, refreshes, disaster recovery and failover.
• Experience in Solution Manager upgrades, set up, configuration and troubleshooting, CCLM, technical monitoring, reports like EWA, SOS. Cloud ALM experience will be plus
• Experience in ABAP, JAVA system and kernel upgrades
• Experience in managing System Landscapes, printer Configuration, handling day to day issue and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on SAP Archiving, Open Text, Invoice capture centre for SAP is a plus
• Ability to communicate technical issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solution

• Facilitate the teams progress by periodically taking up capability building sessions for the team members, playing an important role in enhancing their technical skills and keeping the team focused on the goals of the project

Experience:

• Bachelors degree / University degree in Engineering / Technology (B.Tech / B.E. / BCA), Masters Degree would be an added advantage
• 6 to 12 Years of working experience in SAP Basis
