Assistant Vice President/Senior Assistant Vice President - Consulting - General Insurance Sector (5-10 yrs)

- This position offers a dynamic role focused on business development, relationship management, and strategic consulting in the general insurance sector.

- The AVP/Senior AVP - Consulting will be responsible for acquiring new clients, driving sales of diverse insurance products, managing corporate relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination for policy issuance and claims servicing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Functions:

- Drive acquisition of new clients to expand the business portfolio.

- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate potential markets.

- Promote general insurance products such as Mediclaim, GTL, Asset, Fire, Liability, Engineering, and Marine insurance.

- Lead sales team efforts in generating inquiries, RFQs, and securing mandate letters.

- Provide detailed insights into pricing and product features, emphasizing their impact on profitability.

Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain excellent relationships with corporate clients.

- Leverage existing client relationships to facilitate closures and drive revenue.

- Coordinate with insurers and TPAs to secure optimal quotes and services for clients.

Other Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather and analyze corporate data.

- Ensure compliance with documentation guidelines for policy issuance and claims servicing.

- Monitor competitor activities to stay updated on market trends and take proactive measures.

- Analyze risk portfolios and provide recommendations to mitigate losses and ensure profitability.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

- 5-10 years in B2B sales, particularly in Broking, General Insurance, or TPA industries.

- Expertise in acquiring new clients, sales closures, and meeting sales targets consistently.

- Experience selling to Founders, CHROs, and CFOs is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of insurance products and services, along with risk mitigation strategies.

- Exceptional communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
