Client Accounting - Construction industry

The current role needs experience and exposure towards Construction domain:

1. Job Costing Management: Overseeing the job costing process for all construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of costs and profitability by job.
2. WIP Reporting: Preparing and maintaining monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports to ensure proper accounting for costs incurred, revenue recognized, and project completion status.
3. Revenue Recognition: Implementing and managing revenue recognition policies for construction contracts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards like ASC 606.
4. Sage Construction Accounting Software: Proficiency in using Sage Construction Accounting software for managing financials and reporting on all construction project a plus but not required.
5. Month-End and Year-End Closings: Assisting with journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and overall closings.
6. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing financial reports
