Refrigeration Operator

Role & responsibilities

1.To maintain, operate, inspect, and repair various types of refrigeration equipment working with Ammonia and Freon Refrigerants.

2. Must be able to read, and interpret P&ID drawings and electrical and control diagrams of refrigeration plant.

3 Ensure that all the refrigeration equipment is running as per the designed parameter operating within the manufacturer's specifications and tolerances) in auto mode.

4. Control the equipment set points as per the needs of our production to maintain the quality of our product.

5. Check the log sheets maintained for all refrigeration equipment, and rooms and record equipment operating parameters, and room temperatures in the prescribed log sheet for every 30 minutes.

6. Check the oil level in each compressor. Able to carry out pressure tests of the plant and vacuuming of the plant. If required charge the required quantity of oil and record the same.

7. Drain periodically the oil from all drain points for the ammonia system.

8. Carry out purging of non-condensable from the NH3 system. Keep the plant neat and clean 9. Perform oil and ammonia sampling for analysis on a regular schedule

10. Do periodic rounds to all plant areas where cooling is provided, ensure the required compressors, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Condensers, Plate freezers, Blast freezers, Chillers & AC Halls, and check for any abnormal vibration and sound.

To maintain the equipment with Zero breakdowns.

Doing maintenance with Zero accidents.

Follow all safety norms while handling any maintenance work

Academic Qualification:

ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration.
