Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the plastic manufacturing sector.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
    • Present and demonstrate the companys plastic products to prospective customers, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
    • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth transition for customers.
    • Actively seek and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Manage existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationships.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling any issues, complaints, or product inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients through calls, emails, and visits to build rapport and identify new opportunities for sales and growth.
    • Work closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently and to meet client expectations.
  2. Sales Strategy & Targets:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasting revenue, and identifying trends or market shifts.
    • Track sales activities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other team members to align on sales goals and strategies.
  3. Market Research & Product Knowledge:
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings, including their applications, advantages, and potential customer solutions.
    • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help refine product offerings based on customer needs and market feedback.
  4. Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure alignment on sales campaigns, promotional efforts, and new product launches.
    • Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
    • Share customer feedback and insights with the relevant internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.
  5. Reporting & Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in the company’s CRM system.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, detailing achievements, pipeline status, and future projections.
    • Complete all required administrative tasks including preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in B2B, preferably within the manufacturing, plastics, or automobile sectors.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Experience in consultative selling and developing long-term business relationships.
    • Familiarity with plastic products, materials, manufacturing processes, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
    • Relevant certifications or training in sales techniques or product knowledge are a plus.
