AI/ML Engineer/Scientist

Generative AI, and Conversational AI technologies to further the purposes of God on the earth, exploring exciting advancements and crafting real-world solutions to serve people and strengthen their walk with God. ROLE DESCRIPTION The following provides an overview of the responsibilities that we presently envision for this role. These will be continuously updated as new initiatives are explored.

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for diverse NLP tasks, including text classification, summarization, question answering, dialogue generation, and sentiment analysis.

Explore and implement cutting-edge advancements in NLP and Generative AI, such as large language models, transfer learning, and reinforcement learning, to identify and develop potential applications within the project.

Design and implement conversational AI systems for our digital assistants and chatbots, focusing on natural language understanding, dialogue management, and personalization.

Develop and improve search functionalities using NLP and generative techniques to deliver enhanced user experiences in the context of APC s content.

Partner with engineers, data scientists, and product team leaders to define project requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and iterate on models based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust, scalable, and production- ready AI/ML infrastructure.

Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in NLP, Generative AI, and Conversational AI, and actively seek opportunities to apply them to the project.

Prepare technical documentation and presentations to clearly communicate the scope, methodology, and results of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have a definite call of God to this kind of ministry role, with a strong passion for God s Word and depth in the Spirit.

Must be passionate about local church ministry, discipling, equipping and empowering people for Kingdom purposes.

Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Strong understanding of NLP principles and techniques, including text processing, machine learning algorithms for NLP tasks, and deep learning architectures.

Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and potential applications, such as language models and generative pre-training techniques.

Experience in designing, developing, and deploying ML models in production environments.

Passion for the potential of AI/ML and its application to NLP and Conversational AI.

Familiarity with search engine ranking algorithms and NLP techniques for search applications.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Strong hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.).

Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in serving at APC, Bangalore.
