AI/ML Software Engineer

APC is looking for passionate and highly skilled AI/ML Software Engineers to join our team and lead the charge on exciting projects at the forefront of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, Conversational AI, and more. You will play a key role in building and deploying state-of-the-art AI/ML applications to further the purposes of God on the earth, exploring exciting advancements and crafting real-world solutions to serve people and strengthen their walk with God. ROLE DESCRIPTION The following provides an overview of the responsibilities that we presently envision for this role. These will be continuously updated as new initiatives are explored.

Design, develop, and implement AI/ML algorithms for applications in NLP, Generative AI, Digital Assistant Conversational AI Chatbots, Small Language Models, and Search Generative Experiences.

Collaborate with data scientists and linguists to define problem statements, analyze data, and train models, ensuring high accuracy and performance.

Stay at the cutting edge of AI/ML advancements by exploring and identifying emerging technologies and their potential applications within our projects.

Evaluate and experiment with new methods and tools to optimize model performance and efficiency.

Design and implement robust production-grade pipelines for data processing, model training, and deployment.

Integrate AI/ML components with existing software systems and applications.

Document code, algorithms, and experiments for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Effectively communicate technical concepts and project progress to stakeholders across various disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Must have a definite call of God to this kind of ministry role, with a strong passion for God s Word and depth in the Spirit.

Must be passionate about local church ministry, discipling, equipping and empowering people for Kingdom purposes.

Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Linguistics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models for NLP or related applications.

Strong proficiency in Python and experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NLTK.

Understanding of deep learning architectures, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques.

Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

Experience with Generative AI models like GPT-3 and its derivatives.

Experience with building and deploying conversational AI assistants or chatbots.

Knowledge of ethical considerations and best practices in AI/ML development.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure for deployment and scaling.

A passion for innovation and a strong desire to push the boundaries of whats possible with AI/ML.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in serving at APC, Bangalore.
