Job Description

Provide guidance and feedback to creative teams throughout the production process.

Ensure all productions are aligned to Biblical truth and teaching, APCs vision, and statement of faith.

Oversee the development of multiple short film projects from concept to completion.

Create and manage production schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Coordinate with various departments, including production, post-production, and marketing, to ensure seamless workflow.

Build and lead a talented team of filmmakers, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address any challenges.

Work closely with the Senior Pastor and finance department to develop and manage project budgets.

Identify and negotiate partnerships or collaborations to enhance production capabilities. Industry Trends and Audience Needs:

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in short film production.

Stay aware of urban audience needs and identify potential opportunities that could be addressed through short films.

Ensure that all short films produced meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Implement feedback mechanisms and conduct regular reviews to continuously improve processes.

Must have a definite call of God to this kind of ministry role, with a strong passion for God s Word and depth in the Spirit.

Must be passionate about local church ministry, discipling, equipping and empowering people for Kingdom purposes.

Must be a visionary to see opportunities where APC as a local church and ministry can grow and fulfill its God s given mandate.

Minimum 5 years of experience in film production, ideally in the short film or independent film sector.

Must have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the short film landscape.

Proven track record with a strong portfolio of successfully developing, producing, and/or directing short films.

Strong understanding of all aspects of the filmmaking process, from development to post- production.

Excellent financial management, budgeting skills, project management and organizational skills.

Exceptional communication skills (strong command of the English language), exceptional interpersonal, and leadership skills, strong decision-making skills, and a results-driven approach.

Ability to research and gain a good understanding of various target audiences, so that short films can be relevant, engaging, and impactful for target audiences.

Good attention to detail, ability to multitask with strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually.

Bachelor s or master s degree in creative writing/film production or equivalent work experience.

Prior experience in producing Bible based short films will be a huge plus.

The ability to handle productions additionally in Hindi will be a huge plus, though not required.

Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved at APC, Bangalore.

Being able to work under pressure and work long hours to meet deadlines. As APC is a local church and Christian ministry, all positions require people who are passionate about Jesus Christ, and who are called, anointed, and committed to serving Him and people to see lives touched and transformed into Christlikeness.
