Finance Business Partner - E.Com/Q.Com

oles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to Co-pilot the E.Com and Q.Com business. This position will be responsible for providing analytical support to Business, handling Channel P&L and granular drilldown, ROI evaluation, budgeting and reporting while ensuring controls and governance are adhered. This position plays an important role in facilitating actionable insights on performance against key financial matrices to enable informed business decisions.

Business Partner to Sales

• Partner with Sales team to anchor key business priorities covering Annual budgeting, building periodical forecasts factoring dynamic business scenario, TOT negotiations and periodical business reviews for E.Com and Q.Com business.
• Prepare & analyze periodical P&Ls and provide actionable insights to business covering key financial matrices like Revenue, Trade Spends and Profitability.
• Partner with KAMs to build specific promo spend proposals/initiatives for business growth. - Support in review & finalizing TOTs (Terms of Trade) and trade agreements with Customers along with KAMs.
• Drive initiatives for trade spend and Promotion money optimization with Sales team, covering areas like consumer pricing benchmarking, Portfolio mix management and Visibility spend optimization.
• Monitor trade spend inefficiency and suggest corrective actions to enhance profitability.

ROI Champion

• ROI evaluation of business proposals
• Account, category, Pilot projects/ Test markets, new SKU introduction.
• ROI evaluation of Trade Spends
• Evaluate specific promotion spends, deep promo cycles and focus pack deals.
• ROI evaluation of Promotional Money
• Evaluate utilization of Visibility spends & share analysis on same.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Responsible for monthly P&L preparation and onward circulation to stakeholders along with Insights to aid in business growth and profitability.
• P&L drilldown at Account/ Account-Category/ ASM area/ SKU level to provide visibility on performance.
• Ensure adherence of business hygiene parameters and overall commercial governance for each account. DSO Control, Claim submission and settlement, support for timely reconciliations and dispute resolution should command equal focus.
• Support automation initiatives to enhance data accuracy and decision-making speed.

Cross-functional Team Management

Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver on Objectives:

• Sales Team HOMT, KAMs, MT Operations Head
• Customer Marketing
• Others Marketing, Supply Chain, Financial Accounting etc

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA/CMA with 5-7 years experience preferably in FMCG Industry -
• Experience in commercial finance/business finance partnering for E.Com/Modern Trade channe
