Staff Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is essential in managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accrual-based accounting and experience in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Oversee payroll management and ensure timely processing.
• Record and balance loan payments and revenue.
• Allocate expenses to specific projects and maintain budget management.
• Record asset purchases and maintain accurate asset tracking.
• Maintain financial dashboards using monday.com.
• Utilize expense management systems such as Ramp or Bill.com to ensure proper allocation.
• Update and maintain the financial scorecard for each company.
• Work with Rentredi and Turbotenant property management systems.
• Execute accrual-based accounting practices.
• Understand and accurately record intercompany transactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Knowledge of balance sheet accounting and asset tracking.
• Experience in communicating effectively with US-based companies.
• Strong English language skills (both spoken and written).
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and finance tech stacks.
• Experience in daily accounting operations within a company.
• Familiarity with real estate asset purchases is a plus.
