PeopleSoft Financials Developer - AR/AP Modules (8-15 yrs)

Role : PeopleSoft Financials Developer

Location : Bangalore/Pune/Chennai/Hyderabad+Hybrid(10 days of WFO as of now)

Requirements :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Financials Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Financials development and support, with deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing custom financial applications.

You will play a critical role in customizing solutions, enhancing system capabilities, and ensuring seamless integrations with external systems.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Application Development and Customization :

- Design, develop, and implement custom PeopleSoft Financials applications, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management (AM).

- Customize and build new components using Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, pages, and Integration Broker to address specific business requirements.

- Develop and maintain APIs and file-based interfaces for integration with PeopleSoft, SAP, and external banking systems.

2. Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct thorough unit testing for developed components.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment of solutions.

3. System Integration and Support :

- Utilize integration tools such as Integration Broker and Component Interface to ensure seamless connectivity with external systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support for PeopleSoft Financials applications.

4. Database Management and Reporting :

- Use advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills for data manipulation, reporting, and optimization.

- Develop data integration processes and reporting solutions to meet organizational needs.

5. Analytical and Problem-Solving :

- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance application functionality.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience :

Experience :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Financials development and support.

Technical Proficiency :

- Expertise in PeopleTools, Application Designer, and PeopleCode.

- Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and reporting.

- Proficiency in integration tools, including Integration Broker and Component Interface.

Functional Knowledge :

- In-depth understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management modules.

Integration Experience :

- Proven experience in building APIs and file-based interfaces for integration with PeopleSoft, SAP, and banking systems.

Problem-Solving :

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and conceptual skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in financial systems integration within enterprise environments.

- Knowledge of additional PeopleSoft modules is a plus.
