Alfa Laval India is looking for a Quality Control Engineer to be based out of Baner,Pune location . This position is being created to ensure that the product quality is maintained throughout its manufacturing cycle and to achieve the set performance targets on quality, vendor development. The incubment would also c ontribute and support in order to maintain and improve defined quality level of products in accordance with Alfa Laval standard / specifications and customer requirements.

About the Job:
The scope of the role includes below responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement activities.
- Prepare, execute monitor QAP/ quality control procedures work instructions.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of supply (including physical inspection) of bough out and fabricated equipment including installation at the construction site.
- Responsible for incoming shipping inspection.
- Compile maintain inspection documents.
- Participate in vendor evaluation development.
- Coordinate with the customer inspection team/ TPI to get necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with various departments within ES to resolve hurdles/ bottlenecks that might hamper the quality of supply and installation.
- Delivering and driving an improvement of current solutions and/ or developing new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage.
- Support handling of claims of ES related to supply
- Carry out root cause analysis suggest corrective actions for observed non-conformances.
- Perform measurements and controls on finished products and/or components.
- Handle incoming inspection activities and non-conformity reporting to suppliers.
What you can be
- Mechanical/ Production engineer having relevant experience
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in relevant function
- Valid certification in NDT (PT, VT, RT), Welding
