Role: Software Engineer III

Responsibilities:
Team mentoring, Risk Analysis, API Testing, Functional Testing, Cloud Server, Integration Testing, Agile, Database Testing, Complex Data queries.

• Work with lead on project estimation and test plan.
• Create Test and Design Tests for Effective and Comprehensive QA Test Coverage after understanding the requirements.
• Execute Test Cases and ensure Test Completion.
• Provide the real time status and day-to-day reports to the QA board.
• Maintain Test landscape and Test environments for the QA Projects.
• Strong exposure with SDLC and methodologies (AGILE, Waterfall etc.) and Test Life Cycle.
• Work with the development team for various meetings and report the daily status to Product Managers and QA Managers.
• Daily SCRUM calls to document and present the test results summary and details.
• Work on customer issues and requirements.
• Deployment instructions and release notes review.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in creating and maintaining Test Plans and ensuring End to End Test Coverage and Completion of the Test Plan to ensure Quality.
• Develop and execute Test Cases and ensure Test Completion
• Maintain Test landscape and Test environments for the QA Projects.
• Provide the real time status and day to day reports to QA board.
• Mentor Junior test engineer and lead the team for the various tasks in QA project.
• Create Test and Design Tests for Effective and Comprehensive QA Test Coverage
• Improve Efficiency of Product Life Cycle, Act as Customer Advocate & Implement Quality Processes for functional validations.
• Strong exposure with SDLC and methodologies (SCRUM, PIL, Waterfall, IEEE, RUP or CMM) and Test Life Cycle.
• Manage multiple projects and provide weekly status reports for the top management staff.
• Work with the Development team for various meetings and report the daily status to Product Managers and QA Managers.
• Daily SCRUM calls to document and present the test results summary and details.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands on Functional Testing, Regression testing, sanity testing, smoke testing and Usability testing etc.
• Good in-depth understanding skills and hands on experience in Test Case Design.
• Very good troubleshooting and analytic skills to find the root cause of any issue.
• Work Experience on Databases like Oracle, SQL Server etc.
• Experience of bug reporting with tools like JIRA, Bugzilla or any other tool.
• Worked on a test management tool like Zephyr or any other tool.
• Working experience on some API tools like SOAPUI, Postman.
• Sharing Daily status Report, weekly status report etc.
• Time management skills.
• Communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills to effectively work in a global environment.
  

Good to have skills:

• Functional Testing, Identity and Access Management(IAM), Physical Access Control Systems, Test Planning.
• Functional Testing experience in enterprise Applications like SAP, Oracle, Identity Management, Compliance and Security domain, PACS and GRC.
• Experience in SAP Security, Compliance like CIP, NERC, SOX, JSOX
• Capable of Build deployments and Environment setup on various Application and web servers like Tomcat, Jboss, WAS, AWS etc.
• Has a good understanding of systems like LDAP and UNIX, Linux and systems like SAP, Active Directory.
• Any Identity Manager: Oracle Identity Manager or Sun IDM, Sail Point etc.
• Any Single Sign On Solution: Oracle Access Manager, PingFederate, Oauth2.0, SSO
• Directory servers: LDAP
• Application/Web Server: WebSphere, Jboss, Weblogic, Tomcat
• Tools: Postman, VMware Workstation
• Oracle Database : 10g/11g, MS-SQL Server 2005/2008+
• Knowledge on third party systems like SAP, AD/LDAP, Unix, Messaging services
• Working knowledge of PACS Systems like Lenel, CCURE, Prowatch, etc.
• ISTQB Certification etc.
