Role

The Senior Finance Manager key duties include managing budgets, planning, and forecasting finances, analyzing financial performance, and preparing financial reports. Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring accurate financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, banking, and investments to optimize performance.
• Conduct financial analysis and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings with accurate records.
• Implement and monitor accounting software for efficiency.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management, and administrative operations.
• Develop and enforce company policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Supervise office facilities and supplies.
• Train and coordinate with external vendors (CA, payroll, insurance, tax).
• Conduct ISO audits and performance evaluations.
• Foster continuous improvement and professional development.
• Provide financial insights to support growth and participate in senior management decisions.
• Prepare board presentations and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure seamless functioning of systems like Tally and Keka.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop robust internal controls and manage legal and regulatory filings.
• Act as the primary contact for authorities and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of financial terms and a good understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong functional knowledge in the areas of accounting and taxation.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Preferred educational background includes a degree in B.Com., MBA, or CA Inter.
• 8 to 10 years of relevant professional and management experience.
