Job Summary

Alcor Solutions is seeking to hire a Consultant for the Product Development Practice.

We are looking for an energetic consultant who is ambitious to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in working with our global team and stakeholders to build solutions for a wide range of business requests. You will also be responsible for presenting the product to our leaders and prospects, helping with product roadmaps and documentation.

This role demands excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and proficiency in ServiceNow or Other technology stack like Python Django ,Angular or React.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the investigation and resolution of complex and unusual problems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement using ServiceNow or Other technology stack like Python Django, Angular or React.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
• Interact with subject matter experts, Product Manager and Management to define functional specifications that meet users requirements and are technically appropriate
• Recommend changes to established methods, suggests alternative solutions and new methods, to improve quality and increase productivity
• Design and document workflows, processes, and integrations.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the technical solutions align with business needs.
• Create functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Create and maintain BSA deliverables as mandated in our development lifecycle
• Provide support for creation and maintenance of Project/Product documentation as per development life cycle
• Assist in analysis and reporting of testing defects when requested
• Provide implementation and post-implementation support
• Provide consulting to technical, sales and marketing
• Assist in discussion with new prospects for the products
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations concerning project scope, timeline, activities, issues, and progress as required
• Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
• Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and documentation.
• Assist in the development of ServiceNow training programs.
• Estimate timelines for the requirements phase of the project and ensure that the requirements are scheduled in manageable components
• Provide input for post-implementation review document and implement corrective procedures

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 plus years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on ServiceNow or Technology Stack like Python Django, Angular and React
• Experience in project management and Agile methodologies is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow or any other Technology stack and its capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) is desirable.

Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is preferred.
