Machine Shop Engineer

Role & responsibilities

* PRODUCTION PLANNING in MACHINE SHOP - Daily, Weekly and monthly as per first in, first out basis or as per customer requirements.

* Preparation of Quotation - Once received the customer drawing, as per the machining time in lathe, milling, special process etc. Quote has to be submitted.

* Once PO has been received from the customer. Same has to be scheduled, planned in machines.

* Study and Understand customer drawing, evaluate the possibility of machining the components with available machining capacity.

* Maximum and proper utilization of machines and man power.

* Interacting with the customer and work accordingly.

* Updating and applying new methods, tolling, fixtures etc. in the shop floor.

* Working along the quality department, completing the documentations as per ISO and API rules and regulations.

* Bring best 5S, safety practices in the shop floor.

* Working as a team to achieve the organizational goals.

Preferred candidate profile

* NTTF or Engineering background professional.

*6 - 8 years experience in working in a CNC Machining unit.

* Knowledge and experience about of CNC Milling, CNC Lathe, Programming, CAD Software, Manufacturing of Oil & gas parts, API and other threads etc.

* Supervisory and managing skills.

* Knowledge on job card, route card, production planning sheet, quality reports etc.
