Mechanical Static (Downstream & Upstream O & G Projects)

We are looking for dynamic, result oriented Engineers for our Mumbai office in Mechanical (Static Division).

Band: EH, FL, FH

Experience: 6-14 years in reputed Engineering Consultancy Organization. Dual experience in Downstream & Upstream Oil & Gas Projects is preferred.

Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in Mechanical engineering from reputed institute.

Job profile:

Candidate shall be responsible for all engineering activities for Mechanical Static Equipment/Fabricated Equipment for petrochemical, downstream industries, and Upstream O & G Projects (Offshore Platforms) in India and abroad.

Engineering activity shall include,

• Review of ITB/ Tender Documents, Raising Technical Queries on ITB Documents to Licensors/Client/PMC, finalization of design basis.
• Preparation of complete mechanical design calculations and checking detail fabrication drawings of Separators, Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Tall Process Columns, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, API Storage tanks, Stacks and other static equipment as per international codes/ standards such as ASME, API, TEMA, IBC, Indian codes/standards-IS etc.
• All procurement activities such as preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet, Material requisition for Enquiry, Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers, Preparation of Purchase requisition, Vendor document review /approval of Static Equipment, namely Separators and Scrubbers, Pressure Vessels, Filters and Coalescer, Tall Process Columns, Column Internals, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Plate/Spiral Heat Exchangers, Electric Heater, Air cooled Exchangers, Agitators, Stacks, API Storage tanks, Silos and other such static equipment.
• Lead team of engineers on small scale project, ensure on time project delivery meeting customer requirement and required quality level, man hour control.
• Perform Package Responsible Engineer role on O&G offshore projects. Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to meet on time delivery of equipment to fabrication yard. Ensure compliance to technical, interface and inspection requirements, expedite vendor for document submission and approval, ensure inspection activities at vendors shop as per approved QAP, resolve inspection punch points, certify and resolve vendor variation claims.
• Knowledge of quality aspect as per ISO 9001 is necessary.
• Effective verbal and written communication is necessary. Candidate shall have ability to interface with other engineering disciplines, Vendors and Clients.
