Sr Designer- Instrumentation

Experience Level: 14-21 years experience in Detail Engineering of Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Refinery/ offshore projects

Current Band Placement E Low

Expectations and Responsibilities:

Candidate should able to work as Lead Designer on projects responsible for all Design Activities including planning, man-hrs controls, interfaces with other disciplines.

Candidate should have hands-on experience of below Instrumentation Design activities as part of Project execution, as a minimum:

I. Technical :

A) Design Knowledge

- Junction Box Grouping

- Cable Trays/ ducts/ trenches routing and sizing

- Hook-ups and Installation Drawings

- Cable & JB Schedule

- Instrumentation bulk MTO including Cable MTO

- MCT Layout

- Instrument location/ tray layout and F&G Layouts

- Control room layout

- Wiring & termination Drawing and Loop drawing

B) Drafting/ Modelling Knowledge

- Knowledge of drafting procedures and 3D Modelling procedures

- Drafting of Instrument drawings and deliverables

- Equipment modelling and tray modelling in 3D Modelling software

- Participation in 3D Model reviews

- Draft layout generation using 3D Model

Note:- Knowledge of Cats & Specs will be added advantage

II. General :

- Awareness of Project Execution Lifecycle

- Interfaces and IDC clearance with other Engineering disciplines in Project

III. Software skills

- AutoCAD/ MicroStation

- PDMS/ PDS/ SP3D

- 3D Review software like Naviswork

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Note:- Knowledge of SPI (Intools) will be added advantage
