Assistant Manager / Manager - Operation _ Dhariwal Power Plant

• Role & responsibilities :

Oversee Unloading Operations: Supervise the unloading of material of Coal from Railway Rake to ensure its done safely and efficiently.

Direct Loading and Unloading Teams: Coordinate with unloading attendants and laborers, ensuring everyone is clear about their duties and the flow of materials.

Liaise Between Plant and Third-Party Teams: Act as the main point of contact between the third-party logistics team and the plant staff. Communicate requirements, timelines, and any issues that arise.

Quality Control: Ensure that materials unloaded meet the required standards and specifications, especially for critical items . Work with plant staff to address any quality control concerns.

Ensure Proper Documentation: Verify that all unloading and delivery documents are completed accurately. Report any discrepancies or issues to the Team .

Reporting Issues: Prepare regular reports on unloading activities, including any safety incidents, delays, or damages. Ensure that these reports are communicated to the plant's management and the internal team .

Enforce Safety Standards: Ensure that all unloading activities comply with both the power plants safety standards and third-party safety protocols. This includes making sure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn correctly and that safe unloading techniques are followed.

Incident Prevention: Identify potential hazards related to unloading activities and proactively implement measures to reduce risks, ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-6 Years + Experience in Supervising of Unloading of Coal in Railway Mode at Thermal Power Plant .
• Strong Supervision skills to manage the unloading operation .
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the plant & Internal Team , Coordinator.
• Ability to keep the unloading process organized .
• Good knowledge about Coal quality , Coal Transportation, Loading /Unloading Operation Management , Railway Logistics Operation & Plant operation .
• Plant Liaison skill .
• MIS Report Preparation .
• MS Excel & MS Office Skill .
• Local Candidate ( Chandrapur/Maharashtra) will be Preferred .
