Role & responsibilities

Minimum 8-10 years strong experience in Coal Supply chain management & Liaison with CIL Subsidiaries , Railway & Government officers ( MCL Area will be preferred).

• Deep understanding of Coal Transportation & Railway logistics management.
• Proven experience in Rake Loading operation and coal Quality & Quantity management.
• In-depth knowledge of coal types, grades, and handling procedures is essential for ensuring the proper loading of coal onto transport vehicles while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong experience in Liaison with Coal India Authorities & Zonal Subsidiaries (MCL Area will be preferred ) .
• Strong attention to detail to accurately monitor loading operations.
• Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet loading schedules, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong Planning & end to end Logistics solution Skill
• Capacity to analyze loading performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits, meetings, or conferences related to Logistics operations.
• Team Management Skills

Preferred candidate profile

Efficient management of Rake Loading operations & supervision of coal from CIL Siding to various power Plant.

• Responsible to Liaison with CIL Authorities, Government Authorities, Railways for Coal allocation & Coordination with area officers for timely allotment for rake loading.
• Proper monitoring as well as liasioning for loading of rakes from preferred siding, minimizing Punitive Charges.
• Coordination with CIL Subsidiaries of MCL for materialization of allocated quantity with desired quality as per Clients requirement.
• Supervise rake loading activities like MCL for minimization of penal over load & under load in rakes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing Coal Logistics operations and implementing damage control measures to minimize damage during coal transport.
• Liasioning with local administration for smooth logistics operation.
• Co-ordination with the internal operation team, Project Coordinators & Stake holders to smooth execution of the coal supply to client in accordance with established guidelines.
