Job Description

1. Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Revenue Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, including promotions, product bundling, and upselling techniques.
  • Market Share Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase the brand’s market share within the region.
  • Product Launches: Oversee the introduction of new products and ensure the team is equipped to sell them effectively.

2. Store Operations Management

  • Store Performance: Ensure that the stores in the assigned area are operating efficiently, meeting performance targets, and adhering to company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the stock levels, ensure the stores are well-stocked, and manage stock-outs or overstocking issues.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the stores maintain high visual standards for product displays, window displays, and store layout to attract customers.
  • Store Compliance: Ensure all stores comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and health & safety protocols.

3. Team Management and Development

  • Staff Training and Development: Lead the training and development programs for sales staff, focusing on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Team Motivation: Ensure high employee morale and motivation by setting clear objectives, offering incentives, and addressing any performance issues.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members when necessary.

4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing customer queries, complaints, and ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Customer Retention: Develop strategies for customer loyalty, including events, offers, and personalized communication.
  • Feedback Mechanism: Set up systems to gather and analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery.

5. Marketing and Promotion

  • Local Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute region-specific marketing strategies to drive footfall and increase brand awareness in the area.
  • Collaborations: Work with external partners, influencers, and local organizations to build brand presence and customer loyalty.
  • Promotions and Events: Organize and oversee promotional events, sales campaigns, and seasonal discounts.

6. Financial Management

  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for the region, including operational costs, marketing expenses, and salaries.
  • Profitability: Ensure profitability by managing expenses effectively, negotiating with suppliers, and increasing the average transaction value.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, expenditures, and other financial data to senior management.

7. Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Competitive Analysis: Regularly analyze competitors' activities, product offerings, and pricing to strategize and stay competitive.

8. Brand Representation and Corporate Communication

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as the face of the brand in the assigned region, representing the company’s values, culture, and standards.
  • Internal Communication: Ensure effective communication with headquarters, sharing insights from the field, and collaborating with other teams (marketing, operations, HR).

9. Health and Safety

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that stores are following safety and regulatory guidelines specific to the jewellery industry (e.g., gold and diamond certifications, security protocols).
  • Risk Management: Manage risk by ensuring that physical stores are protected from theft, and employees are trained in emergency procedures.
