Senior / QC Analyst with Airamatrix(AI Product Company)

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the end to end testing cycle.
Functional testing, regression testing, integration, automation testing, performance and compatibility testing on Mobile based apps and websites.
Creation and execution of test plans, cases and scripts to uncover, identify and document software bugs and their causes.
He/she is responsible to reporting, tracking till closure of all bugs reported
Experience in test automation tools to conduct independent API, UI and performance testing.
Take ownership of a defect and drive it to closure
Coordinate with stakeholders as and when needed to understand requirements.
Independent motivated worker and should mentor junior members of the team.
Ability to modify software configuration and propose work around to achieve functionality in the case of issues
Analysing the service level agreement objectives and developing the test scripts

Enhancing the scripts by creating/implementing Parameterization, Checkpoints, Transactions, Reusable functions, Correlations, Actions/Blocks.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Manual & Automation Testing Skills

Requirement Analysis:
Test Case Design and Execution:
Defect Reporting and Tracking: JIRA with Xray plugin will be an added advantage
Agile, Scrum methodologies

Scripting Knowledge: such as Java, JavaScript.

Experience with tools like Selenium for web testing, Familiarity with both front-end and back-end testing tools is beneficial, Hands-on experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks, including data-driven, keyword-driven, or behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., using Cucumber or JBehave).

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Bitbucket, GitLab

2. API Testing and Database Skills

API Testing: Proficiency with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to test APIs.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to verify data and perform backend validation, particularly for end-to-end testing involving databases like MySQL

3. Performance Testing (Optional)

Basic Knowledge of Performance Tools: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.

4.Others

Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of issues and understand complex application workflows and data flows, Ability to troubleshoot and resolve test failures and environment issues effectively.
Clear communication skills for collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders. This includes effectively reporting test results and discussing defects and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools, practices, and technologies to stay current in the field.

Qualification & Experience:
Academic background: B.E/ B.Tech /M.C.A.
Should have more than 4 years of experience in testing like functional, regression, automation etc
Preferred ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
Familiarity with web technologies, databases and APIs.

Specialization / Domain knowledge:
Experience System Tester (Test case preparation, bug reporting, bug tracking) with several years of experience in software products organization
Exposure to Java technologies such as Core Java, SPRING, Hibernate, JAXB, Apache Camel, CXF, JMS
Exposure in Automation testing using Selenium etc
Exposure to UI technologies (Angular 10, HTML5) and MySQL database are added advantage
Experience in performance testing are desirable
