Job Description
- The design and development of hardware components, as well as the assembly of drones.
- Maintain detailed reports for every research and development project.
- Plan and execute flight test plans for new software features, electronics, sensors, and payloads.
- Troubleshoot and debug any components of a drone in the office or in the field.
- Expertise in drone calibration and PID tuning with mission planner, Qgroundcontrol & Betaflight.
- Engineer-supervised experiments and investigations.
- Knowledge embedded in the Pixhawk, Orange Cube, ESC, Propulsion, Aerodynamics.
- New innovative ideas and possibilities to make the product more capable, attractive and user-friendly.
- Post-processing knowledge of Drone data with PPK and RTK.
- Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of new hardware components on the internal fleet of test vehicles for R&D and testing.
- Assembly of drones and UAVs.
- Designing 3D models (Solid-works/Fusion360/Catia).
- Experience with fixed wings/multicopters.
- Embedded knowledge (Pixhawk, ESC, Propulsion, Aerodynamics).
Required Education/Credentials: Bachelors Degree in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or equivalent field.
