Job Description

This role requires a highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and business-minded individual capable of managing a wide range of contractual matters while fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders and Legal department members. Expert written and verbal knowledge of Japanese business communication is a must. Proficiency is Chinese business language is expected for this multi lingual role.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management :

Serve s as the first point of contact for contract requests from Agilent internal teams, working with requestors to define the appropriate contractual solutions.

Manage s the end-to-end contract process in a timely and accurate manner, including drafting, reviewing, obtaining signatures, and activating contracts in line with Agilent policies while driving positive customer experience .

Monitor s and maintain s contracts throughout their validity, amending and renewing them as necessary.

Involve s other members of the Legal department or internal stakeholders as consultants, approvers, or as otherwise needed to ensure full compliance with relevant processes and requirements.

Effectively leverage s Agilent tools such as SAP, Contract Lifecycle Management Tools, Microsoft Office solutions, and others to manage contracts

Routinely use s reports and analytics to manage the contract portfolio , resolve data discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvement.

Contract negotiation :

Negotiat e s contractual terms and conditions , escalat ing to Contract Negotiator as required

Collaborat ion w ith Business and Legal Stakeholders:

Collaborate s closely with various departments to ensure contractual obligations are clearly defined, communicated, understood, and met.

Create s materials and deliver presentations to make contractual processes transparent to stakeholders and collaborators.

Routinely collaborate s with other members of the Legal team and internal organizations on projects and initiatives aimed at improving internal processes and tools, as well as other business-related projects.

Contract Template Management

Collaborates with other legal team members in defining, maintaining and localizing the contract templates
