Job Description

Job Description
Key skills required:
Proficient in Accounting and should have good understanding of Accounting principles and concepts.
Ability to interpret, apply and maintain GAAP.
Good understanding of data from across system in Quote to Cash cycle and Revenue recognition.
Works on financial and accounting assignments with clearly defined objectives.
Should have 2-4 yrs of experience in R2R preferably Revenue Accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze and/ or record Revenue Accounting entries to General ledger for month end closing.
Validation and reporting of Revenue, Deferred Revenue, Unbilled AR, contra revenue etc.
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations- Deferred Accounts, Unbilled AR, Cash in Advance, AR provisions etc to ensure G/L information is accurate, consistent and properly backed up. Ensure all relevant account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly.
Prepare and ensure all documentation for G/L entries meet company policy and SOX compliance and is properly maintained.
Qualifications
Bachelor s and CA Inter/ICWA or holds master s degree in Accounting
Proficient in MS office applications, excel in particular.
Experience in SAP is preferred
