Hiring For AM/Manager Risk

Job Purpose (In a brief, specific one or two-sentence statement)

The jobholder will be responsible for preparing Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents reported by departments and submitting closure reports. Additionally, the person will undertake ad-hoc risk management projects, support with advice in the areas of insurance and operational matters, highlight risk arising as result of processes and controls.

• Develop new and improve existing Key Risk Indicators (KRI) relevant for the business.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents reported by departments and submit closure reports to the Supervisor.
• Conduct periodical Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a strong control environment and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Responsible for risk assessment and due diligence of outsourced vendors and manage and convene quarterly meetings of the Outsourcing Committee.
• Work on ad-hoc risk management projects within defined timelines.
• Support with advice in the areas of insurance risk and operational risk matters, highlight risk arising as result of products, processes and controls.
• Assist the supervisor with day-to-day activities.

Ability to get along well with people. The candidate is required to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders in the company to complete tasks.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance Industry in Operations (New Business and Policy Servicing/Risk functions or 3 years of experience in Operational Risk Management.
