Experience: Minimum 6 to 10 years of teaching experience at the secondary level

Education:

• Bachelor's/Masters Degree in English Literature, Language, or Education (B.A./M.A. in English, B.Ed. preferred)
• Teaching certification or diploma in education (preferred)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and incorporate them into lesson plans.
• Ensure timely completion of the syllabus with well-structured lesson planning.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, writing, literature, and reading comprehension effectively.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and interactive activities.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate student records and report progress to school leadership.
• Foster critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills in students.
• Encourage students to participate in debates, elocution, writing competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings, parent interactions, and teacher training programs.
