Affordplan - Finance Controller (6-8 yrs)

- Affordplan is looking for a Finance Controller to be based at Gurgaon.

- A Chartered Accountant with experience of 6-8 years, with exposure in a startup and tech environment.

- Should have a good working experience, managing a team of 4-6 members, in accounting, GST, TDS, ROC compliances, MIS, balance sheet prep, statutory and tax.

- Exposure to process automation will be great.

- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets.

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.

- Prepare financial forecasts and projections.

- Accounting and Reporting:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

- Oversee the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

- Manage tax compliance and reporting.

- Risk Management and Internal Controls

- Identify and assess financial risks.

- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.

- Conduct regular financial audits and reviews.

Financial Systems and Technology:

- Select, implement, and maintain financial systems and software.

- Optimize financial processes and workflows through automation and technology.

Team Management:

- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.

- Recruit and hire qualified finance professionals.
