Assistant Manager- Global Tax and Legal Compliance

Global Tax Compliance:

• Ensureadherence to international tax regulations and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensuring timely submission and compliance with local tax laws.
• Advise on transfer pricing, double taxation treaties and other international tax matters.

Legal Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with global tax standards, including corporate governance, data protection, and industry-specific regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of tax processes to identify areas of risk and ensure adherence to tax requirements.

Regulatory Reporting:

• Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory reports in accordance with global tax requirements.
• Ensureall documentation is accurate and up-to-date for internal and external audits.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential tax risks, providing strategic recommendations to mitigate these risks.
• Stayinformed on changes in tax laws and legal regulations, ensuring proactive adjustments to the organizations compliance strategy.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal and operations teams, to ensure alignment on tax and legal compliance matters.
• Liaise with external stakeholders like tax consultants in various jurisdictions to ensure alignment on tax and legal compliance matters.
• Provide clear and concise updates to senior management on compliance status and potential risks.

External Advisory Coordination:

• Managerelationships with external tax advisors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in tax and legal compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Law or Finance or certification (e.g., CA, CS, ACCA) preferred.

3-5years of experience in global tax and legal compliance, preferably in a multinationalcorporation.

Strong knowledge of international tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different time zones.

Ability to work independently to resolve issues.

Proficiency in using accounting software, Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.

After completion of probation period work location will be Dubai
