Area Sales Manager_Bangalore(Industrial Packaging)

Role & responsibilities :

Sales & Strategy:

• Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
• Identify potential clients within the target industries and build strong relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and sales materials.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports to senior management.

Client Relationship Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is maintained.
• Conduct regular client meetings to understand their evolving requirements and provide customized solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with clients through effective communication, problem-solving, and value-added services.
• Address any client concerns or issues promptly and ensure their resolution to maintain client loyalty.

Team Management:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets, providing guidance, coaching, and training as required.
• Set clear performance expectations and regularly assess individual and team performance.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee development.

Business Development:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with the finance department to develop annual budgets and sales forecasts.
• Monitor sales performance against budgeted targets and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to refine forecasting models and improve accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of projects and excellent customer experience.
• Provide inputs to product development teams based on customer feedback and market demands.
