Role & responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for plant-based roles.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.

2. Employee Relations:

• Act as the first point of contact for plant employees regarding HR matters, including grievances and disciplinary issues.
• Promote and maintain a positive work culture and environment.
• Mediate conflicts between employees and assist in resolving workplace disputes.

3. Attendance & Payroll:

• Oversee attendance tracking systems and ensure accurate payroll inputs.
• Monitor leave balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with timekeeping policies.

4. Training & Development:

• Identify training needs and organize in-house or external training programs for employees.
• Maintain records of employee development activities and support career development initiatives.

5. Performance Management:

• Assist in conducting performance appraisals and evaluations for plant staff.
• Provide guidance and support in setting performance objectives and development plans.

6. Labor Law Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage employee contracts and ensure timely renewals and updates.
• Handle government and labor-related inspections or audits.

7. Health & Safety:

• Support plant management in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Liaise with safety teams to ensure safe working conditions and manage injury or accident reports.

8. HR Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, attendance logs, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare HR-related reports for management review.
