Executive- Internal Audit

Role & responsibilities

- Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk audit and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.

- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process.

- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.

- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee.

- Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.

- Collaborate with external auditors during statutory audits and regulatory compliance assessments.

- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or a related field.

- Experience in NBFC, CA firms is preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in internal auditing

- Proficiency in using audit management software and data analysis tools.

- Experience in developing and executing audit plans and evaluating internal control systems.

- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial documents and audit reports.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Ability to work independently or in a team.

- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
