As an Associate Engineer - Technical Services, you will be responsible for the design and development of information technology architecture for internal and/or external clients. You will provide professional technical services and support to customers, including product design and configuration based on architectural requirements and infrastructure needs. You will communicate with engineering, applications engineering, marketing, product development, and project management teams regarding, opportunities, software needs or emerging customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs
Analyzes the functionality and constraints of recommended solution/changes across multiple systems/platforms/applications
Ensures compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of solution architecture
Requires broad and deep technical knowledge and experience across varying infrastructure requirements, development, design, and re-engineering
Responsible for design work including CAD drawings, cable set-up, plug & power, room harmonics
Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems
Provides expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots product and modifies product to customer requirements
Provides training to customers
Serves as technical resource to other functional groups and individuals to improve product quality and user experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree - Engineering discipline required
Licenses / Certificates / Designations - IT industry networking certifications such as CCNA or CCDA; or CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D preferred
1 year required audio video Integration industry with emphasis in corporate audio video
1 year required delivering support in ethernet technologies and concepts
1 years required troubleshooting network security configurations and protocols and have experience with third-party control integration (AMX, Crestron, etc.)
Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions within the designated area of responsibility
2 years required audio video Integration industry with emphasis in corporate audio video preferred
CompTIA certifications such as Network+ and Security+ preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%
