International Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

Handle Requisitions:

• Responsible for promptly addressing and managing requisition requests of spares providing the accurate and relevant information regarding the requested products.

Product Sourcing, Research & Navigation:

• Conducts thorough research and navigation on various online platforms to identify suitable products that meet client requirements. They stay updated on the latest market trends and source products from reliable vendors.

Research Potential Vendors:

• In order to expand the vendor network and explore new opportunities, researches potential vendors based on different factors such as brand reputation, location (domestic or international), and product availability.

Vendor Development:

• Actively engages in vendor development activities, establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure a smooth procurement process. They evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Compare and Evaluate Offers:

• Compares and evaluates offers from different suppliers, considering factors such as price, quantity, quality, and delivery conditions. They analyze the options to make informed decisions and select the best available offers.

Timely Follow-up with Vendors:

• To ensure effective communication and timely delivery, engages in regular follow-up with vendors via phone calls or emails. They track the progress of orders and address any issues or delays promptly.

Negotiate Prices :

• When necessary, negotiates prices with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization. They strive to achieve cost savings without compromising on product quality.

Share Updated Quotations:

• Shares updated quotations received from vendors with the team, ensuring that the pricing/condition/quantity information is accurately communicated for further action.

Preferred candidate profile -

• Should have strong communication due to international email and calls.
• Relevant experience in finding new suppliers in International markets.
• Should have strong sourcing skills & familiarity with International Purchasing and E-commerce platforms.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Exposure of import - export duties and taxes (custom department) related to procurement is a MUST
• Product knowledge of Automation,Hydraulic products.
