Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and complete cases received through the system.
- Perform review of client credit worthiness for new and existing clients.
- Maintain a close coordination with internal legal team in conducting credit review processes and ensure necessary approvals are obtained to complete the process.
- Setup new and/or modify existing client records in the Accounting System
- Work closely with various internal/external stakeholders to address issues/concerns pertaining to Customer Master Data requests/tasks
- May be involved in selected transition-related processes and activities.
- Participate in various stakeholder meetings.
- Identify opportunities as part of continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to inquiries and escalate issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
- Participate in governance meetings with Operations Team and/or clients.
- Perform multiple routine and/or simple ad hoc tasks assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.
- Address critical issues with the guidance of Team Leader within the prescribed turn-around time.
- Gather information and documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving issues within the assigned process.
- May be involved in selected transition-related activities such as desktop procedures creation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses
- 2+years of relevant professional experience in Master Data Management specializing in Customer Setup & Modification including credit management
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls
- Experience working with ERP & CRMs e.g. Oracle, SAP, Service Now and Salesforce
- Experience in process improvements and other transformation activities is an advantage
- Experience in process migration/transition is a plus
- Experience working in a global engineering and consulting firm or similar in a shared service/BPO environment is preferred
