Purchase Manager

Job Description

• Purchase of Raw Materials & Packing Materials For Pharma Manufacturing company managing all aspects of the purchasing function, including vendor selection, pricing, and terms
• Continual collaboration with Internal stakeholders regarding supply levels and needs
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
• Retain detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
• Overall Managing the Purchase management and Supply chain team to manage key aspects of the manufacturing process, like procurement, on time delivery and warehousing of materials, inventory control and distribution & dispatch of finished goods, Logistics cost.
• Ensure timely availability of Raw materials /Packing materials and Indirect materials, consumables to run the plant smoothly.
• Material Planning & Scheduling , Procurement, Vendor development, Out souring and Inventory man management, Global procurement
• Continual communication with manufacturing and development personnel regarding supply levels
• Resolves conflicts concerning materials or services at the department and vendor levels
• Works closely with staff on evaluating new suppliers, vendors or sub-contractors
• Assists internal customers in the evaluation of goods and services, as needed.
• 10+ yrs of relevant work experience B Pharma /M Pharma (Desirable)
• Preferably Pharmaceutical/ Nutraceuticals /Biotech Industry backgroundRole & responsibilities
