Role & responsibilities

1. Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords.
• Analyze competitors to uncover new opportunities for content and backlinks.

2. On-Page SEO Optimization

• Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headers, and tags for improved rankings.
• Ensure proper keyword placement, internal linking, and image optimization.
• Conduct website audits and implement necessary technical SEO improvements.

3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

• Design and execute effective link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
• Perform outreach to authoritative blogs, directories, and websites for quality backlinks.
• Monitor and maintain a clean, penalty-free backlink profile.

4. Content Optimization

• Work with the content team to develop SEO-friendly articles and blogs.
• Ensure all content aligns with targeted keywords and audience intent.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track traffic, rankings, and conversions.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and offer actionable recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates to refine SEO strategies proactively.

6. Technical SEO

• Enhance website speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall crawlability.
• Resolve technical issues related to site structure, duplicate content, and broken links.
• Ensure the website complies with search engine guidelines and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency with SEO tools.
• Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and ranking factors.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing.
• Experience with paid search campaigns (PPC) is an added advantage.
