About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems.

You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies.

- Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Optimize application performance, identify and troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in Node.js, backend development, and related technologies.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.

- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.

- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js.

- Solid understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and related design patterns.

- Proficiency with MySQL databases or other relational databases.

- Experience with AWS platform or other cloud platforms.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with containerization technologies (e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with message queues (e., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Experience with GraphQL.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
