NOC Associate / Engineer

Technical Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in handling NOC Operations and Infrastructure related activities.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Solarwinds
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF) and network components (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems. Hands-on-experience on L1 tasks on Unix\Windows Administration.

Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.

Good to have

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualized infrastructure.

Seeking a highly capable NOC technician to work at our network operations center. Will be responsible for monitoring the alerts on Infrastructure and be diagnosing/resolving network issues, maintaining our network infrastructure, and collaborating with our IT team to enhance the Infrastructure and Network performance.

Candidates will play a key role as a First point of contact and serve as per Industry accepted standards with respect to Network Operations center.

Must be familiar with monitoring tools SolarWinds, New Relic, Network & Subnet concepts, handling basic documented activities on Cisco switches, Windows/Linux basic maintenance activities. Knowledge on

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and availability of the Enterprise Network, Servers, applications, and other infrastructure components using monitoring tools (SolarWinds, new relic etc.,).
• Serve as the first point of contact for detecting and addressing incidents that affect service availability. Providing timely resolutions or escalating to the appropriate teams.
• Collaborating with the IT team on the development and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Providing first level technical support, and resolving Infra (Windows Server and Linux) and network related issues based on documented procedures
• Running diagnostic tests on communication between computers, routers, switches, and servers.
• Analyze and triage incidents, escalating to Level 2/3 engineers or relevant departments as necessary.
• Maintain communication
