Plant Head: ADM Cryowest

Greetings for the Day!

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head for ADM Cryowest. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Precision welding, Cleanroom management, and robust experience in supply chain and warehouse operations. In this critical leadership role, the Plant Head will be responsible for building a team culture cantered on discipline, quality, and operational excellence while driving growth, profitability, and P&L deliverables.

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the tubular components division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive business growth through market expansion, customer relationship management, and operational excellence.
• Take ownership of the division's P&L, ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are met or exceeded.
• The person will be responsible for leading Complete plant Operations and ensuring all activities are align and towards Organizations Top and Bottom-line Improvement.

Operations Management:

• Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring processes meet the highest quality and precision welding standards.
• Manage Cleanroom environments, adhering to strict ISO and regulatory protocols.
• Optimize operational efficiency through process improvement and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Production Plan adherence (Plan vs Actual)
• Budgeting and ensuring operations in line to budget o Capacity planning o 100% Safe Working condition
• To lead the Cost Optimisation model throughout the plant to improve bottom line
• Installation of new equipment to best in class manufacturing flow
• Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times

Supply Chain and Warehouse Management:

• Lead and manage the supply chain for high lead-time components, ensuring seamless import and export operations.
• Implement effective warehouse management systems to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to secure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.

Team Leadership and Culture Building:

• Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing quality, accountability, and discipline.
• Build, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve operational and organizational goals.
• Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular evaluations, and drive professional development initiatives.
• Ensure training and skill enhancement of staff and associates

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Champion a culture of quality by ensuring all products meet or exceed industry and customer standards.
• Oversee implementation and adherence to safety, cleanliness, and organizational discipline protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.

Growth and Business Development:

• Identify new market opportunities and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to expand customer base.
• Drive innovation in product offerings and production processes to meet evolving customer demands.
• Regularly evaluate market trends and competitive positioning to inform strategic decision-making.
• New Product Development in line to Growth and APQP plans.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement across production, supply chain, and team performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in precision welding, Class 5 cleanroom operations, and managing global supply chains.
