Job Description: Medical Records Department (MRD) Executive

Location: Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Pune
Position: MRD Executive
Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in MRD and team handling
Qualification: Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Records Management:
   
• Ensure accurate and efficient management of patient medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise the documentation, coding, indexing, and retrieval processes of medical records.
2. Team Supervision:
   
• Lead, manage, and motivate the MRD team to ensure smooth departmental operations.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
3. Compliance and Standards:
   
• Ensure all medical records meet legal, accreditation, and confidentiality requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards.
4. Coordination:
   
• Collaborate with hospital departments, including billing, administration, and clinical teams, for efficient data flow.
• Provide timely reports and medical record data for operational and decision-making purposes.
5. Process Improvement:
   
• Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implementing best practices in medical records management.
• Introduce and manage digital systems for record-keeping as needed.

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in medical record management and compliance standards.
• Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with hospital management systems and digital MRD solutions.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to working in NABH-accredited hospitals or similar healthcare environments.
• Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems is a plus.
