Senior Manager/Manager - Finance & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial procedures, and controls in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage all the Compliances and applicable tax and other laws and regulations applicable from time to time
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Coordinate external/ Internal / Management audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable trust laws.
• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
• Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and program managers to facilitate effective resource allocation and utilization
• Research and analyse financial reports of alike Organisation for improvement and adopt best practices.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations for all the projects within the mpower company, such as payroll, invoicing, booking of expenses, payments and other transactions. Preparation of monthly project expenditure reports and relevant MIS.
• Monitor vendor payments, Collections from Debtors, Reconcile bank, debtor & creditor statements.
• Monitor collections, bank deposits and payments & cash transactions on a daily basis.
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement in system, processes and cost-saving opportunities and systematic plan to fix the same.
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with experience in Trust Accounting, GST, Taxation and Budget. Candidates who has worked in field of education are preferred with relevant experience
