Job Description :
As the QA Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance processes within the organization.
This role involves developing and implementing robust quality control procedures, defining comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
You will manage a dynamic QA team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies across the organization.
- Define test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on project requirements gathered from stakeholders.
- Review and analyze technical requirements, test plans, and test cases for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Conduct regular QA audits to identify areas for improvement and apply corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that all products delivered meet the organization's quality expectations, maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and other teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the QA team to meet and exceed quality standards and expectations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and foster continuous learning within the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches and tools.
- Proficient with testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
- Experience testing software applications across various platforms and operating systems.
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA, JMeter, etc.
- Understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, and C# for scripting and automation.
Soft Skills :
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly resolve issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
- High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all deliverables.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g, ISTQB, CMMI) are an advantage
