Software Developer Senior Specialist - Dot Net

As a Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.

We are now looking for a Senior Specialist to strengthen the Software development team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for driving the execution of Software Products and Software Services for Investor Relations.

Join the development organization for Nasdaq IR Insight. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art software for Investor Relations teams. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with our team, you will be responsible for delivery of enhancements and supporting re-architecture of the enterprise product to new software paradigms.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will lead cross-functional teams across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to world-leading Market Infrastructure Operators and New Markets. You will be responsible for essential project management activities and internal customer interaction.

Furthermore, you will:

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and implement rich internet application software for IRInsight product.
• Take high-level architecture and design models from architects and implement them through detailed design and code
• Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
• Conduct performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code

We expect you to have

• At least 8-10 years of software development experience
• Expertise in writing server side code using .net framework, C#, C++, VB.NET and ASP.NET
• Expertise understanding of Microsoft SQL database, database concepts and should be able to write complicated database queries
• Expertise on Windows OS, Windows service and IIS and ETL.
• Understanding of SAAS platforms, private cloud architecture is a plus
• Good knowledge on design patterns and distributed architecture
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as TFS/Gitlab

Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in Computer Science.

It would be great if you

• Knowledge on React is preferred.
• Knowledge of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus
• Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge on .NET Core
