Senior Software Engineer - Dot Net, WPF

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in .NET and WPF to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing extensions (plug-ins) for the platform. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the code of existing extensions for the platform, working as part of a distributed team, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software solutions.

• Design and develop extensions (plug-ins) for the Petrel/Techlog/Studio platform
• Maintain the code of existing extensions (plug-ins) for the platform
• Collaborate as part of a distributed team
• Apply agile software development approach
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software solutions
• Utilize Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) technology and MVVM pattern in development
• Leverage knowledge of unit and integration testing for software quality assurance
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in software development
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• 5+ years of experience as a .NET Engineer
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), modern design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Proficiency in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) technology and MVVM pattern
• Experience with agile software development approach and Azure DevOps (or similar DevOps platforms)
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing
• Basic knowledge of C++/Python/HTML5/CSS3
• Basic understanding of the Oil and Gas domain
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently
• Enthusiasm for learning new languages, technologies, and techniques
• Good communication skills with English proficiency
