Job Description
- Graduate / Diploma Industrial Security with 5-7 years of experience. Experience in handling Loss & Prevention role in Hotels or Club Properties.
- Assist the Head of Club in budgeting for the costs for the security department.
- Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Identification and familiarization of sensitive installations
- Implement techniques and systems to prevent or minimize waste, theft or pilferage within the property.
- Ensure compliance with policies, systems and procedures relating to security and emergency situations (bomb threats, evacuation etc)
- Ensure that all the security operations are in accordance with the management policy and that courteous service is accorded to all guests.
- Ensure that all Club employees abide by the established house rules and regulations.
- Stay informed of the latest amendments in civil/criminal laws, technological advances in surveillance and safety equipment.
- Maintain good liaison with civil law enforcement agencies, Fire department and other government authorities.
- Prepare the daily activity report and any other security report as required
- Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained
- Maintain system that monitors contractors working in Club in accordance with company health and safety policies
- Responsible for checking goods received out of hours
- Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys
- Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system
- Patrol the Club Property on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded
- Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations
- Ensure Club facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use
- Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports
- Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents.
- Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
